Request: Whitelist Removal Lenovo G500

Kindly requesting a modded BIOS for Lenovo G500 laptop

Looking to replace the wifi card with Intel 7260HMW IEEE 802.11AC, dual-band, 2x2 Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth 4.0 Mini PCI Express combo Adapter, which is not included in the BIOS whitelist.

And finally, if anyone has a procedure for brick recovery of a Lenovo G500 with Insyde H20 BIOS, that would be useful information for reference.

Finally, is it safe to flash BIOS for this laptop via a DOS bootable USB with flashit.exe and running C:\> flashit.exe WinVIWGP201.ROM /all -MC ?

Ideally, I would like to be able to upgrade and downgrade BIOS via flashing from DOS.

Or is the preferred way to upgrade or downgrade BIOS to use InsydeFlash.exe via Windows 7 ?

I prefer to use the DOS method if its always safe to run flashit.exe and upload the ROM without risk of bricking due to RSA signing or some other unintended process.
