Hello! I'm owner of notebook Acer Aspire 9413ZWSMi (the same 9410), BIOS is Phoenix v.1.24. I installed 4 GB memory, but BIOS shows 3 GB only! Is it possible to make mod that fix it?

I'm really new to this and I need to unlock my bios with a modded one to be able to use Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.

Can you guys teach me how to update the BIOS too? Any help will be highly appreciated. I'm new to this and I love dealing with this kind of thing.

Hey,

im trying to install an Intel Widi AC 7260 in my Lenovo G500S and getting an error that i have a wireless card installed that is not supportet. Currently im having an Intel Wireless N135 running in my system.

I uploaded an backup from my bios and i hope it is the right one and that somebody could help me with thist problem :/

Hi everyone, just a day ago I could not power mi system due to the fact that there is no Bios, or it is damaged, I have been reading more than 12 hours how to recover it, I need to recover it because it is my personal computer and i use it to study.
In few words I need to restore the original or updated Bios, I tried to do it by myself but i could not. I know the "fn + r" recovery method works becasuse my pendrive's led turns on when I try to reset, but I almost sure that I do not have the correct method to do this.

I only have the original bios in a .EXE file, from lenovo directly.

I use systems in 64x but i dont know if there is a difference in BIOS.
My BIOS is UEFI (I guess that would help)

PD: My laptop came with Win8 and I upgraded it to Win 8.1. But now I would like to have dual boot (Ubuntu and Windows 8.1)

Hello good people of Bios Mods!

I have a humble petition, could you guys please unlock my Sony Vaio VPCS111FM Bios? It's a Insyde h2o bios version 3.5. I would love to have access to all of the settings available in order to make some changes and being able to install another OS in my machine, currently I cannot change the PCH Sata Control Mode to AHCI.

Bios version is R0310Q3

Hello i am new here my name is jason. I have come here to get some help if i can i was given a laptop a few years bacK. I was told it had windows vista on it but the person that give it to me has installed win 7 the thing is i have been looking all over the net for the bios that it is useing i can not find nothing about it i have used speccy to see if anything comes up and it is telling me that the bios version is called VistDF12

Hi,

I have a ASUS P8P67 mainboard and it has 3x PCI slots where I try using a Creative X-Fi Platinum PCI soundcard.
My system is Windows 7 Pro x64.

Why is there no possebility in Windows 7 to change the IRQ as some IRQ are available like 3,4,5,6 & 7, if the bios assign them it seems to me the bios is quite stupid to make IRQ conflicts however the drivers schould have IRQ Sharing compability which seems not to do it's job very well.

Is there any chance I can assign the IRQ's manual by some mabe hidden bios settings?
